Yes, a visa is required to enter Uganda. Travellers must apply online via the Uganda e-Immigration system. A Single Entry/Tourist Visa costs $50, while the East Africa Tourist Visa, which allows entry into Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya for 90 days, costs $100. If you plan to visit multiple countries, applying for the East Africa Tourist Visa is recommended. Remember, your first entry must be through the country where you obtained the visa.

It is highly recommended to have travel insurance before your trip to Uganda. This should include medical coverage to address any emergencies or health concerns during your journey.
